Christian campign to free tibet

I start with this scripture to show how enviromentalism should interact with christianity.

You see we are suppose to be the rulers of this earth. We have be given dominion over this world, in other words, we are it caretakers, and stewards of this world. We are suppose to use this worlds resources in a way that would take care of us, for when we take care of the resource, it will take care of us.

So what kind of life does god want us to have, sure he wants us with cars, and tv, and the internet, and all the luxuries that technology can give us. But he wants us to do it his way.

How many of you think it is enough, just to recycle everything that you can, is all that you have to do.

The answer is NO. There are so many ways that you can not only do the will of the Lord to take better care of the world, that give you almost immediate prospering from the Lord.

When in high school a retired teacher came into my enviromental class, and he talked about how he installed solar panels on the roof of his home, which purpose is to heat water, which he uses for he daily activities. The panels took 500 dollars to make and install for each, and he installed 5, so for 2500 dollars, he saved 1000 dollars a year in hydro bills. See what I mean by almost immediate propsering!

That is good dominion. He says- the sun was created for me, and this world was created for me, let me use it to the best of my abilities to give back to the world!

That little innovation which costs 2500 dollars could in fact save 50% for each of us, for about half our electric bills come from this area, and that means we will only use half the electricity from other areas, and there for only half the electricity will be used, and only half the pollutants will be produced, and only half the fossil fuels will be used!

Then we would have good dominion over the earth!
